I ve been busting my head about this, but the answer is quite simple. The shared parameters you used in the family editor (Wall finish 1, Wall finish 2....) are not the same as those you used in the project (Wall finish 01, Wall finish 02....).

I just checked the source file of Shared parameters, it is the same one. Still i will redo the tag with a new file and double check. Strange kind of error.

Take a look at these two pictures you posted. The parameter names are not the same. If the source is the same, check parameter grouping (Maybe Wall finish 1 is in one group, while Wall finish 01 is in another...)

How did you create this room tag? Everytime I have tried to create one similar to this, it changes all the options even though each wall has its own parameter. I can't figure out how to keep them from all changing.

The tag is simple to create. You just need to draw it how you'd like and use shared parameters. Make sure you load the shared parameters used in the tag into your project. This would be a great exercise for you to learn how to make any new tag you'd like.
