No, 2D elements (like tags) are view based so only work on the view you created them.

Few things you can do to speed up process of tagging.

1-Scripting with Dynamo.

2-Tag one view and then Copy and Paste

The elements has to be visible and in same location for this to work.

You could try to use pyrevit, there is a pyrevit script (clickable tool) wich let you tag you all rooms or spaces in all views.

1. click on Pyrevit tab in the revit ribbon

2. click on edit drop down

3. click on the tool tag in all views

4. Choose tag all rooms:

5. Result: all rooms in all views are tagged

The script makes use of the last used room tag, so make sure to tag one room with the desired tag or
set it via the Loaded symbols and tags menu

Tag all in one view, copyclip, paste aligned to selected views, then select all other views.

Yeah, I just know this function. We can select which view that we want to be pasted on. That's good. Thanks bro!

That can sadly enough happen, i tested it in a project and got the same error,
then tested it in another project in the same session and it worked just fine.

Ill make sure to post it as an issue on Github so Ehsan Iran-Nejad can have a look into it,
and might bring a patch/fix for this certain problem in future releases.

But good to see that  ToanDN  knew an soulution that is available directly in Revit.
Deffinitly gonna use this in future for myself when copying detail groups/items for example to
multiple views.

OFFTOPIC:
Since you are new to pyRevit i wanted to give the tip to try some of the other extensions:
