Room Separation

I have two rooms that I needed to place a room separation in, and I now need to move that separator.  My problem is that I can not see or select that separator.  I tried to delete the rooms but that did not work either.  Has anyone ever had this happen to them before?

Some possibilities:

1. They're turned off in the view's VG settings, or possibly by a view template.

2. You've hidden it/them By Element.

3. You've got a floor surface above the view's associated level. Room separator lines will be on that level, so any item that covers them won't be visible unless you're in the Wireframe visual style.

4. The bottom of your view range is above that associated level, so you can't see anything that's right at the level.

The room separation line is hidden.  Check VV> Model Categories > Lines > [Room separation].  If it still not shows, click on the light bulb on the status bar to reveal the hidden element and unhide it.

The line was not hidden, because I did all of those steps to try and find it.  I accidentally deleted the floor in that area, and some how that separation line was inside the middle of the floor.  Any idea why or how it would have done that?

Like I said, it's possible that your floor had a positive offset, such that its upper surface was above the Level. If this is the case, it will obscure room separators.

That worked pretty well for me.

Thank you so much!
