Room not showing in all views

Hello all,

So we have a big parking garage that has a room element associated with it. Since it is so big, we have two different floor plan views set to two different scope boxes, one for one half, and another for the other half. They views use the same view template. The room shows in one view, but doesn't in the other. There are other rooms around the garage that are showing in both views. It's just this one big room. I have unassociated with the scope boxes, switched and removed the view template on both views, checked the phases and looked through hidden elements, and the room just doesn't appear in one of the views. Any ideas?

Reveal hidden element.

Do you have any plan regions in the view that not showing the room?

maybe you have a difference of levels and you are above the Limit Offset of the Room Definition...

@ToanDN

The room doesn't even appear in with hidden elements turned on, and if I so a select all drag and filter to rooms, it doesn't show the room in question in the other view:

There is one little plan region on the view where the room doesn't show, but it's in a different location and I have tried deleting it to see if that was the issue, and it does nothing.

The views are at the same place (I think they were duplicated form each other) and the view template is the same for both views, including the view range:

I have tried turning off the view template and manually making changes, then turning it back on, and it still doesn't do anything. We sometimes have had an issue where a duplicated view would inebriate it's parent view settings, despite being set to a new view template, and cycling it on and off would fix it, but this doesn't appear to be that issue since the other rooms are still showing.

Other ideas?

Here is a good example. If I isolate room elements in the view and select all of them, the big room doesn't show in the one view:

make a Room Schedule and see if the Room is on the list... if it is , activate Room References and make some sections to find it..

There maybe more than one plan region.  Select all in Reveal Hidden Mode and filter Plan regions to find out.

The room is on the room schedule and it does show in the other view. It's just not showing in one view of the exact same space.

@ToanDN

I did this too. Only one plan region in both views and I have tried deleting them both to see if that changes anything and it does not.

I'll try this:

  • make a Room Schedule that contains Fields D to H
  • put in a tiled View the Room Schedule and the Plan View . Selected in Schedule >Highlighted in Plan View
  • check the values from D to H to be appropriate...

Unfortunately, nothing has worked so far. The room is there, it shows in other views, shows on the schedule, but for some reason it's just not showing in this one view. I swear it's going to be something easy, but I'm just at a loss.

@hmunsell Unfortunately it's a government contract project and I can't share it. Also it's on Construction Cloud and crazy huge.

if you have diffrent elevations on your floors for intsance the room in question the floor is at 1000 mm your  room orgin point is on higher level then you other rooms go to a section or 3d view where you see your level select your level and change computional height. to 1100   or simliar

stefangokstorp_0-1663578638546.png

OBS changing this will make rooms that doesnt go above the elevation you but in to become invisible in your views.

@lshannonEQEBT I found another post which seems to be the same or similar issue you are experiencing.

Here is a link

This relates to a wall being slightly moved which altered the room boundaries, and the boundary lines were not intersecting properly.

Theyused the trim command to connect them. They also mention if all else fails, try redrawing the boundary lines.
