Room Colour goes missing in linked files

Hi,

I am having problem with the room colour in the link revit files. I have a template set-up for this site plan but everytimes I opened the site plan I lose the room colour to Block A.  Block B and C never seemed to be a problem. I tinker with the template to get the colour back on with Rvt Link Display setting / colour fill / <by host view> and <by linked view>  and with room / colour fill. Sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn't.

I set up the colour scheme by room name

I want to be able to open the site model without a problem.

Any advice or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Niall

@noconnorG728Y I am not sure, Try this set a view template to None and check once. In display settings give By linked View. It will work i guess.

The decision wheter to choose "by host view" or "by linked view" under Revit Links - Custom - Basics - Color Fill - depends on wheter you want to control the appearance on the host file or on the linked file. It seems to me that you want to make decisions in the host file, so you should choose "by host view". The room names should be recognized automatically in this case. I would also double check under Visibility Graphics - Revit Links - (Block A) - Custom - Model Categories - Custom - Rooms - Collor Fill should be checked. Hope it helps!

"Include Elements from Link" checked in Scheme?
