Hi!
Goal: Create rooms below and above stairs.
So far,
I have a created a model in place to act as a room bounding element (because stairs are not room bounding).
Place a room on ground level. Room is bounded by model in place.
Created an intermediary level to place room above stairs.
Problem:
After creating the room it seems to leak through the model in place.
Weird thing is, the leaking occurs at the intermediary level. So when I move the level to test, the room regenerates and leaks at the new level.
Any help?

OK!
I made it work for you!
Two things:
I recorded my fourth attempt - that worked and attached the model for your reference!
This was fun. Thank you!
Thanks for your attempt!
But what i need is the 1 room to be below stairs, and 1 room above stairs.
Example below with just a simple form (left).
Any suggestions?
Best
Done!!
I actually did not know you could do this and now I do
Here is a screenshot and the model is attached, but I will not tell you how I did it yet, and see if you can figure it out. If not, then I will tell you tomorrow.
Hint: I added a new level - and for a reason!
I understand what you have done, nice moves.
I've accepted as solution. Thanks!!
Our example was simplified. With walls and floors involved, the conditions change and I am finding leaks more and more complicated to patch up.
Nice working with you.
The pleasure is all mine
The secret to making this work is changing the computation height of the level (that is the elevation value where the room expands in all directions looking for bounding elements) I changed it for Level 3 to be HIGHER than the stair, and then I placed room 2 on it. Meanwhile, I left level 0 c.h. at 0 as is unchanged.
What other fun stuff do you have for me?
Thank you very much
