Hi all,
as you can see in the attached images, when an element like a column or a wall is very close to an another wall Revit dosn't consider the area between the two element. That is somewhat annoying. There is a way to bypass this automatic threshold and consider all the affective area?
Set the wall to be Non Room bounding and the wall will be excluded from the area.
Thank you for the reply. I need that the area of the interior wall (or the area of the column) near the exterior wall isn't included in the computation, but the area BETWEEN the two wall yes. When those elements are too near Revit exclude the interstitial area.
My personal workaround is:
I model floor finish as a separate floor.
I tag room as number/name and Floor area tag for finish.
Room boundaries are very annoying
