Roof Sub Elements

I'm not really sure how to ask my question but basically I want my roof to slope its edges from the four points like you see here in this roof...Roof Simple.png

But when I add the sub element, the roof wants to slope like this...

Is there a way to define the end of the slope for a shape or tell the points that are inside the outside main shape to continue sloping in the direction of the outermost points, Or maybe specify which points are the where the slope ends?

I don't see how that can be accomplish through Modify Sub-Elements.  I can see it done with a "regular" roof with different slopes.

Post the file.

I figured, but I cant use slopes because I need to specify where the roof slopes, since its sloping to a drain. So it looks like the only way is multiple roofs, which I hate.

well, offer stands. Share your file and I'll see how I would do it.  I like to avoid multiple roofs too when I can.  Less cleanup work.

Create first a rectangular Roof by Footprint ,then:

  • use Modify sub Elements and Add a Point for drainage
  • then create a Component Model in Place Extruded Void
  • Cut the Roof with the Void
