Ay ideas how to trim the main roof the the lower pitched sloped roof (circled in red). The main roof is one piece, when I try to dormer or join, it will not due the the front angled piece. Any ideas on how to connect or should I just draw in extrusion?
In plan view, draw a reference plane at the edge where the two roofs meet. Then edit the footprint of the main roof so that it coincides with the reference plane.
I don´t understand why the slope would change if you edit the footprint of the main roof. You´re just editing a rectangle to be like an L shape with the same slopes at the lowest edges. Why would it change the slope?
Well maybe not, any ideas on why I have a hole and how to fix that?
I think, I got it. I just moved the cut line for the lower roof over, and then drug the center part back. Its not exactly built correctly, but it will work for what we need. Thanks~
Sorry legally due to client privacy, I am not able to post the revit model.
Don't include any proprietary info. Walls and Roofs is all I need to see.
