Roof Ridges

I was trying to figure out how to rotate the ridge of a roof. In other words I was trying to orient the ridge placement on a roof. (NOTE: I'm not trying to rotate the whole roof, just the ridge of it. However could not find the solution. Please help with detail instructions (pictures and video if possible plz)

You should post a sketch of how you want the roof to be done? Do you want the eave to be even and horizontal? Do you want the ridge to be sloped or horizontal? etc...

The ridge of a Roof-by-footprint is automatically determined based on the footprint's sketch outline and slope definitions.

For example, let's say you've got a very plain rectangular roof, sloped down two sides and gabled on the other two sides. It will have slope definitions for the two low eave sides, and thus the ridge position and orientation is forced from that information. If you want to re-orient the ridge on that same roof, you would have to take the slope away from those two sides that have it, and give slope to the two other sides that don't have it.

Not sure if that applies to your situation because you were not very specific.

Glad to help.

Of course, if it were a square, you could just rotate the danged thing 90-deg.
