Hi, I always have such a problem and it's such a nightmare. Could anyone let me know how to attach the wall to this pitched roof? The file has been attached. Thanks for any help

Deja Vu.
You posted this question a while ago and got some responses but I don't remember you came back with any feedback. Anyhow, see the revised file with the two sections I have created. If you are able to move the awnings a few mm down then the walls can attach to the roofs nicely.
Toan, This problem hasn't solved and each time I have to play with it, sometimes it works with edit footprint and sometimes with dormer and each time I want to attach the wall I should pray God. Anyway, I can't move the awnings down, do you have other solutions? Thanks
Split the wall in 3 segments matching the dormer location, disallow join, attach each one to the roof above it. When done, use Join geometry to join them.
I did and joined them but at the end, the wall is 3 pieces even though that I joined them.
Yes they will be three pieces but no visible joints and it's okay in my book. If you want a single wall, then manually edit profile to match the roof.
See the attached image below to understand why moving the awning 30 mm down will fix it. It extends the boundary of the sloped roof to meet the exterior line of the wall.
I don't know what determines the location of the awning in your model, but geometry wise, it should be where I draw it.
Thank You, Toan, I prefer to split the wall rather than lower the awning (in my case is 120mm). Toan, do you have any solution for this roof joint as well? Thanks,
The top of the steeper roof (A) is slightly lower than that of the flatter roof (B). Make (A) equal or higher than (B) and they will join.
