In Rivet, is there a there a way to show the structural framing material used to create the roof?
If I created a roof by clicking on the Roof by footprint option. Next, going into to the properties panel. Editing the structure, choosing materials such as Asphalt Shingles, Plywood Sheathing and Wood Joist Rafters.
How can I show the framing of the materials? Automated framing? I have provided pictures below for clearity.
Use beam systems for your structure... 2" framing though?
My roofs usually contain the sheathing and finish only, as I show the structure as actual rafters or trusses. Oh, and I custom build my trusses from beams and disable the length parameter so they don't go wonky if I move a wall.
...you might like the Rafter Framing and Roof Trusses tools that are part of Revit Extension. Check it out. If you don't have Revit Extension installed, it is a Subscriber benefit and available to download from your Autodesk Account.
