Hi,
How do you make the roof end so that it has a square cut?
see attached picture. Thank you.

Model In-Place Void works too.
TIP: Cut the Roof with the Void (using Cut Geometry) BEFORE closing out of In-Place Editing Mode.
I tried your method but it makes a setback on my roof edge. Is there a way to get rid of this setback?
Red is where the roof should end.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for getting me one step closer to my solution!
I'm trying to fill the void but thank you so much for your reply. Appreciate all your help!
Draw your roof longer first so then you square it off it remains correct.
You don't "fill the void". But it's the wrong approach anyways. I thought the red portion was what you wanted to REMOVE -- not ADD.
Why don't you just do a Square Cut?
...I'll bet you couldn't get the top roof eave to line up with the bottom roof eave. Another way to do the top roof would be as a Roof by Extrusion. Make aligning the square cuts a lot easier. FWIW.
I just tried 'roof by extrusion' but I realized I can't use this command because my roof is a hip roof.
Thank you for your suggestion though! I truly appreciate all your feedback and advice! Than you so much!
