ROOF EDGE TO REMOVE

HI,

I've got a problem with removing the edge of a roof, due to it showing up in the proposed phase where the roof & brickwork are coinciding - I can clearly see it on elevations. See attached.

I've tried cutting-out a small section of Roof, but the existing wall can't join the roof (in that spot) also causes problems with new gable roof joining to existing.

I'm happy to put a fill over it - But I can't get a drafting fill with brickwork (model fill).

Does Revit have reveals but for Roofs?

If that portion of the existing roof no longer exists in the new phase then you need to demolish it.

So your saying that I can't cut slice off the roof without effecting the ability of the lower wall to attached?

No. I am saying if that sliver of roof needs to be demolished for the construction of the new wall then demolish it.

HI ToanDN,

Yes. I took your advice what I ended up doing;

I created a very thin 10mm sliver of Roof and 10mm brick-wall underneath and set to demolish.

Please see attached. The brickwork doesn't exactly align though.

I just hope I have not screwed up some other part of the model!

You can use Align tool to align the brick patterns.
