Do the following (See GIFF Below - applies to all types of roofs 😞

  1. Select the Roof
  2. On the Properties Palette >>> Set the roof Rafter Cut to: Two Cut Square
  3. Set the Fascia Depth = Roof overall thickness

Hi RDAOU, Thanks for your reply.

I tried it on my case (a single side pitch roof), it can only solve the lower level (in green) but not happening on the upper level( in red) as attached, any clue?

Hi Ennujozlagam, Thanks for your idea. It seems working with a mass extrusion. Just that I am new to revit and it take me sometime to create a reference plane with my 2 way pitch roof. I am also checking if the massing can have the same roof feature ( like creating gutter and fascia) Thanks a lot. Leonard

You don't need to create a mass. Use Opening by face tool cut the top edge of the roof squarely.  See screencast.
