Roof boundary doesn't match footprint

When I adjust the boundary of the footprint, it doesn't affect the graphic display of the roof in picture 1.

Don't edit it in an activated view on sheet.  Open the view directly and do it there.

What is the current work plane of the view?  If it is anything other than Associated Level then change it back to the Associated level of the plan view.

There was an opening cut altering the footprint.
