Hi! I'm looking to take a Rhino file into Revit. I was able to save the Rhino as a ACIS file and create a massing family in Revit and import that way. However, I need to apply materials in Revit. Is there a way to do that with the massing family I've created? Would that happen in the family editor or in the main Revit file? Do I need to import each material as a separate ACIS file? I'm not super concerned with having the beams I made in Rhino really be beams in Revit (like for scheduling purposes or anything), but I do need to render the materials in Revit. Any ideas? Thanks!
Hi @Anonymous
Please check the link HERE on importing a Rhino (.SAT) file into a Revit project.

Thanks for your help, @Viveka_CD. I'm having issues placing the family into my model because I'm getting an error, "Mass contains only mesh geometry, which can’t be used to compute Mass Floors, volume, or surface area."
I did try just importing the file as a .SAT and as a .3DM directly into the Revit model, but I wasn't able to find the view properties menu or use the Visibility/Graphics menu to change the material.
If you've got any suggestions, that would really help! Thanks!
