RHINO to revit?

Hi everyone,

Lets see if today is my lucky day with Revit!

Im a newby with Revit, I know basic stuff like building boxes and walls?. I still cant build complex volumes or architecture buidlings on revit, ITS TAKING ME YEARS. Im on a learning process and thats why I have decided to build it on Rhino. I need to create analysis in Revit using the SUN/ SHADE, Sefaira plug in, and the INSIGHT plug in for my project, which I cant do on Rhino.

I tried for hours and hours looking for tutorials to bring my Rhino model into Revit. However, it seems imposible to have my volumes workable in Revit. They just become unworkable volumes.

Is there a trick, a specific way or a magic solution to bring a model that is efficient into Revit? One that I can make the analysis and select specific elements as walls, floor, and windows, which I can assign materiality etc?

If anyone out there can help me out I would greatly appreciate it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi,

The good news is that yes, it is possible to do what you want, but the bad news is that it might be another learning curve and a few hours of frsutration before you succeed.

First you are going to need to download dynamo for revit (http://dynamobim.org/download/), then I'd recommend to gather plenty of patience and watch these tutorials:

And a similar workflow with slightly different route:

Good luck!
