My rhino model is not visible on every elevation.
1. Does somebody know why this happend?
2. And how to make the object in a elevation section appear black (as a surface)? and how can I mark the above lying mass of the object (like with hidden lines)?
I realized I misunderstood your question. Please ignore it for now.
To answer you 2nd question, change the View's Show Hidden Lines to All.
The 1st question, I am not quite sure. Maybe you could point out what are missing specifically.
On this level, object which I placed mass-in-situ, does not show on this level. Do you know why that happens. Also, the object will be visible at several levels. Do you know how to show the object when it is above with hidden lines and when it intersect with an elevation, showing it as a section cut?
Is the Mass category turned off for Level 1 view?
I don't know how to show a Mass above the cut plane. This can easily be done for other categories such as Generic model with symbolic lines but there isn't such option with Mass. You may need to overlay a view from the higher view range and the main view on a Sheet. Override graphic of the objects in the overlaying view to hidden lines.
Yes, it wasn't. Now it is checked, but I still cannot see the object.
Do you know what else I can do?
Ow...... I accept your answer as a solution accidentally. Could you uncheck it?
Uhmmmm.. when I place the .SAT-file in mass-in-situ it gives the following warning after creating the object. The object is not visible in the section as well as in other views such as a level and other elevations. Do you know a way to solve this issue? The masses are checked in the visibility panel.
I am quite confused to be honest. First it was only one view and then the error message and now several having the problem. Maybe it's about time to share the SAT file.
