My rhino model is a curvy pipe structure and when I exported it to revit there was multiple pipes that had a lot of unnecessary lines. I exported it as an ACIS (*.sat) file but it ended up with the same result. Screenshot (144).png

I assumed you have already tried to link 3dm file directly in Revit and it didn't work?

It unfortunately did not work. Is there another method I could use?

It didn't work as the 3dm didn't import, or imported but the mesh lines are still visible?

I used "Import CAD" to import the rhino file. It works but it shows the dense meshes. I did try using "Link CAD", it took out the dense meshing but it imported in the wrong spot and did not cut for the section drawings.

Create a generic model in place and Link the 3DM in it.
