Hi,
Is Revit 2016 compatible with Windows 10? I have tried to download it a number of times and each time, it fails.
Hi @Anonymous,
Welcome to the community!
You can see all the compatibility for Windows 10 here. You can more specifically see all the system requirements for Revit here. I would recommend using Revit 2017 for Revit, if possible.

How are you trying to download it? Are you using the Install Now option? That method requires having a good internet connection during the entire installation process. Try downloading the installation files in one or more ZIP files from the Autodesk Virtual Agent. If there are multiple ZIP files, save them all to the same folder. Once all are fully downloaded, double click on the "001" file to start the extraction process, making note of the location to which the files will be extracted. All of the ZIP files will be extracted by the one action. When the extraction is complete, go to the root folder to which the files were extracted and double click on the Setup.exe file to start the installation.

Yes, I am downloading it straight from the website.
I am not tech savvy so I am unsure how to extract files etc.
The files are self-extracting ZIP files. If you can double-click on the first one (if there are more than one), you have all the tech skills you need. Just make note of the folder (and path) to which they extract, then navigate to that folder and double click on Setup.exe to start the installation process.
