Hi,
I just bought a new ASUS Zenbook pro with 6th generation i7 , 16GB, SSD, and Nvidia 960M. Revit 2016 is installed, as well as R1 and R2. Revit won't work properly, it has display glitches, and it freezes making it unusable. I turned off the hardware acceleration and the anti-aliasing options, still no luck. is the problem in windows 10 or my graphic card? Any help would be much appreciated. If I can't get this to work I will have to return the laptop. I have only 10 days to decide.
hi, try to change display setting to 125% or 150% if this works for you. hope it helps. thanks
That didn't work too. what I mean by display glitches is that buttons and the properties box don't appear, They only appear if I hover over them or click on them. Also, the toolbar on the bottom of the screen keeps flashing. Additionally, it freezes a minute after I start it. I have a 6-year old laptop that has i5 processor, no dedicated graphic card and windows 10 and Revit 2016 works perfectly on it.
hi, you may try here previous threads.
Thanks for trying to help me. I've been reading through all of these old posts for the last two days. Still no luck. I need to know if the graphic card is causing the problem, in such case, I'll return my laptop and get a Dell Precision with Nvidia Quadro.
hi, good idea. thanks
FYI,
Revit 2016 is not officially supported on Windows 10. You can read all supported Autodesk 2016 products here.
I run Revit 2016 at home on Windows 10 without any problem, though. But mine was upgraded from Windows 8.1.
Cheers,

Hello @TAMUedu
It is the graphic card and settings which is doing this ...Confirmed. And it is not just about the screen size 100/125 or 150%. It could relate to the screen resolution or the driver being used (example: an old one or a beta version)...It can also be that the graphic card is defective...I am not sure what @edwin.prakoso is suggesting...But those glitches are definitly NOT because of Windows 10 (regardless if windows 10 was installed clean or if the OS was upgraded).
I am not sure what posts did you read and what you have tried so far. If you give some insight of what you have done so far in terms of troubleshooting then one can suggest that

Hi,
Is there a solution for this? I also have the exact same issue with Revit Architecture 2016 on my Dell XPS 15, 6th Geneartion i7, 2.6GHz, 16GB RAM and same video card Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M.
