Hello! I'm thinking about rendering my revit model in lumion and this may be too out of the topic for this board but, how can lumion run in a 4gb RAM laptop? or can it run anyways? thank you!
I think that you will struggle with this, but it depends on your graphics card more than your RAM. Our computers have 32Gb of RAM, but we still struggle with larger models.
Hi!
Minimum requirements for Lumion:
Graphics card At least 2,000 PassMark points
Graphics card memory 2 GB (GeForce GTX 1050, Quadro K4200)
Intel Core i5 with 3.0 GHz base/boost speed or higher
Monitor resolution Minimum 1600 x 1080 pixels
RAM 8 GB
Hard drive Minimum 20 GB of disk space
Yes sir but just wondering how it would perform with i7 4gb ram. In case anybody have tried
The size of your model will also affect it - it may work on a small model, but I would suspect that you will still struggle.
I used diferrent versions of Lumion (since 6 to 9 version) on different PCs. I know, that list of requirements is real minimum of hardware. Lumion takes 6-16GB of memory in last versions. And GPU on laptops also bottleneck.
You can install trial, but imho wasted time.

I don't think it would run at all. You can barely run Windows OS with 4GB, let alone any memory hogging programs like Revit or Lumion on top of it. Don't waste your time trying.
