Hi all,
Can someone point me in right direction to manage this issue which I m facing most often.
I have to cut the edges of walls to suit the gap or align with grid which is not vertical or horizontal. see the attached image in this case I want to have the gap of 40 mm between the walls. here I have to cut the small portion of wall to suit or get the desired outcome.
is there any efficient way to manage this kind of issue ??
> I thought of having generic model with the rotation parameter where I can rotate at any angle the edge and it works well but I cant have all generic models instead of walls everywhere in project.
> Do I have to rely on cutting the wall by void everywhere in project ??
I think it would be really nice if Revit give the option of rotating the edge in system family so its easy and quick.
Correct me if I m wrong anywhere

Use a model-in-place void extrusion to trim it off like you already anticipated.
Or try this attached.
