Revit wall layers in "wall joins" tool

When you use the "wall joins" tool and select a wall intersection, additional lines turn on temporarily to indicate the lapping of wall layers, then turn off once the "wall joins" tool is not activated.  See images below:

Is there a way of turning on these lines all the time?  I would prefer to have them on all the time and turn them off on a case by case basis as an override.  Is this possible?

You could get there (partially) through VGO's Override Host Layer Cut Line Style. Or you could Create Parts from the Walls.

Create Parts and create a view to Show Parts (to see the lines) and a view to Show Originals (to see clean joints).

How do I override VGO's Override Host Layer Cut Line Style to achieve what I was describing?

Wouldn't creating parts out of all the walls in the project make walls pretty difficult to work with?
