Hi,
Wasn't sure where to post this. I'm a custom home/light commercial designer. I created building plans and digital models using Architectural ACAD (3D version). Lately, I have been contemplating switching to Revit and I am trying to figure out if it is worth it. I am so proficient in ACAD but I am noticing more and more firms are moving to Revit - especially in the engineering fields.
What are your thoughts?
Would Revit that more advantageous that Archiectural ACAD? Has anyone worked on both and could explain the benefits of a switch? The money part is insanely expensive - I am a one man show 😉
Thanks so much
