Revit Views Distortion

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone had / has the same issue and found a solution to this issue.

My view distorts when changing zoom level. basically as i change the zoom factor with the mouse wheel the model almost jumps around, all elements doors windows walls grids etc, jump around visually but don't actually move physical position..

As you can see in the pictures attached as i change zoom all items change position visually

Thanks

How far from the Revit Origin has your model been created?

Go to your site view and in Visibility Graphics expand 'Site' and ensure Project base point is on and Survey point is off.

In the view, right click on the Project Base Point and select 'Move to Startup Location' and then Zoom Extents - if you can't see your model or it appears as a single pixel you have likely built it too far away from the origin.   I can't recall of the top of my head the workable extents but if they get too big the geometry starts breaking down...

Hi Keith,

Thanks, it was the Base point / Survey Point location. it was way to far away from linked in model and work. I did try move to startup location but I think there were issues with the links, so managed to obtain the coordinates and update them correctly manually and this helped.

Thanks
