Revit to Inventor - Maybe via Dynamo?

Hi All,

Would anyone know if there is a way of converting an .rvt file to a .SAT file (which will later be used in Inventor) and retain all it's original data (e.g Identity Data, materials, etc)?

Can that be achieved using Dynamo?

Thanks..

Yes sure i think you can use Dynamo for that, the only need is that you have to create the script all the information you can sustrate for revit and then exist a node for export geometry in sat format, another way is use the default that you have in Revit and Inventor for that you can watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NG9vtXtUxQ

Thanks a lot for your response. @Luiscko

I am very new to Dynamo and would not know how to create that script you mentioned. Would you happen to know how to?  or have any tips on how to get it done?

Thanks again, Cheers
