Hello, when i export the revit file to dwg. the doors and windows family cut the lines of the wall (example in the image) is there a way to avoid this problem? I don´t if it is from the family or just a revit system that i can´t change. Thank you

Hi @00353629,

Revit dwg export doesn't include "hidden" geometry like something on a "AutoCAD DontPlot layer", if a part of a element isn't visible in the view that part isn't exported. This also includes elements that are over each other.

I don't know the mechanism revit uses for determining which part of overlapping lines of 3D objects are determined, by linewidth or order of element creation (door will always be placed after the wall so is higher in order?)

So either the line of the wall is left out or from the door.

If you only need the walllines (or something like that), make a dwg with the other elements invisible.

We don't have that issue.  Can you provide more information about your workflow?  Maybe post the RVT?
