Revit to dwg Export Line type problem

Exporting to dwg I am facing a problem with line properties, I am getting the layer colors I want, but when it comes to line type all lines becoming solid, Grid Line level lines, etc.

i have attached a screencast please review it.

Did you try to export either

  • all properties ByLayer and Overrides ByEntity
  • all properties ByLayer and create new Layers for overrides

yes, i tried, but the problem with those two options are I am not getting layers as expected.

it will create plenty of unnecessary layers and it will change the colors of wall, text etc.

Try export options ptscale 0, or object space.

They are not unnecessary they are the overrides you have used...the option you are using is forcing all to become solid

Normally the Linetype scale is set to 0 or 1, you have to take additional steps in AutoCAD to get the linetype to showup properly. However you can bypass that by setting it to scaled linetype definitions.

Once you have the setting above, you don't have to do much. Here is a sample I just export and open in AutoCAD. The linetype shown as is which is exactly what I wanted.
