Revit Timber Framing 2017

I know it's early doors but could someone give an indication of when the timber framing add in for 2017 will be available please.

Also whether it will revert to being able to install from the exhange apps site (like 2015) rather than the download for 2016 (which I had to request a link from an Autodesk representative)

Do you have the Autodesk desktop app? We were prompted to download it via that

Hi Chap,

I have the same issue but am still on 2016, I don't suppose you know which, if any, of the 2016 updates contain the timber frame elements?

I've looked through but none are named timber frame specifically..

Kind regards,

Kieran

Is the interface that is shown in the screenshot only available as a website (manage.autodesk.com) or is it also available in form of a desktop application? It is not available on my PC as a desktop application after installing Revit, despite the Revit setup claiming to have installed an "Autodesk Desktop App". Also, is there a reason for making these extensions very difficult to find for customers of Autodesk? Thank you very much if anyone answers.

Have you selected downloads under your Revit @Anonymous ?

No idea why Autodesk seem to change how you install it seemingly each year but  the current way we downloaded it was via the Autodesk Desktop App.

Have you succeeded downloading the 2017 version? Do you know where to get the links to download either the 2016 and 2017 version?

Thanks a lot!

By the way, I´m trying to import an AutoCAD file DWG to Revit, but Revit returns an error related to the size of the site to be imported. It alerts me that due to to the site´s size, Revit probably will show inaccuracies. However, the AutoCAD file is not that huge. Is there any way of fixing it in AutoCAD before import it to Revit?

🙂
