Revit Test

I'm doing a test for a class but i'm really stuck. I've tried asking for help from the professor but that doesn't help and everyone I talk to is equally as stuck. Can any of you teach me how to do this test?

I'm trying to contact the other student but we're on spring break so its kinda hard, and we're a small class so all of us are already working together. That's why i'm testing my luck on here.

Where is it that your stuck? Can you narrow it down a bit?

I have the basic layout done, the main things i'm stuck on are

1. adding content for lights, plumbing, stairs, windows, doors and rooms as shown on the levels in images

2. Generating schedules for plumbing, doors, rooms using the content items, and editing the content mark data as shown

3. Creating the Study Section per the following image

help with the footing under the slab would be help full. In other words, i'm completely lost, i'm sorry.

Unfortunately, @Anonymous, you didn't narrow it down at all. You expanded the scope of what you need tremendously.  I can't possibly walk you through the totality of all the work you need to do on this list. I have no calms with helping a lad get over a hump, but this a mountain of information to try and impart to someone in a thread.  My suggestion is to get yourself a case of Red Bull and then park yourself in front of the computer and start Googling. There is a wealth of video tutorials out there - Beginner to Advanced - that can help you through every one of these challenges.

Hi.. let me try to explain..

BLUE - 3D Elements in Revit

GREEN - 2D Annotation

RED - Commands like copy, paster..

VIEW / PLAN / ELEVATION / SECTION - Views

TABS IN REVIT..Command

I would say, try to do one thing at a time..

trick is USE the keywords and those keywords are most probably COMMANDS in Revit..

Ex : 1. once wall and doors and windows are placed on one level.. you can copy those element and PASTE it on LEVEL ABOVE.

COPY / PASTE / ALIGNED TO LEVEL

2. SHAFT is a command  and in 3D to create Opening through floors / roof etc

3. GRID lines, FOOTINGs, LIGHT FIXTURE, STAIRS, WINDOWS, DOORS, ROOMS...model these .

4. SCHEDULES ( can find in VIEW Tab ) to create for any type of categories like Doors, Room, Walls, Windows etc..

5. You can create SECTIONs through the building.. use SECTION from VIEW Tab..

6. Dimensions in ANNOTATION tab.. 

7. Room Tags after Placing Rooms.. same with window tag, door tag.

8. CEILING can be modelled in CEILING PLAN...Each CEILING PLAN is associated with corresponding Levels..

Ex : Ground Floor Ceiling Plan, First Floor Ceiling Plan.

Concentrate on Modelling first ( 3d Elements ) wall, doors, windows, ceiling, footing etc..

and move on to Scheduling.. ( VIEW TAB )
