Please could I be pointed towards some greate revit templates for our architects office. Currently working on 'out the box' RevitLT moving from autocad, and hoped there would be some useful downloadable templates.

What kind of templet you are expecting...usually most of them will edit the out of the box template according to project need and they will update so on. if you have any specific need, and you are struggling with it do share your issue we will sort it out.
Even if you do find free downloadable templates, they will need to be modified to suit your needs and more than likely will have stuff that you don't need. Go with the advice already given and start modifying one that comes with Revit and ask questions when you can't figure something out.
