Hello @hnermin
Elevation is different from sections and the image you are showing was an elevation view.
Elevation don't have line unlike the section view.
The letter referring with the Sheet No. and view number are only activated when you put that view in a sheet.
Incase your section view don't have section head
Click on the section>Edit Type (see image)
In case there is no callout head available Go to Insert>find the Annotation library
That didn't solve my problem. I am new at Revit and i couldn't solve this or even found solution. Can I just continue work in Revit ?
hello @hnermin
Nope This is not about your template
The image you shown was an elevation. You cannot put line in there 'coz that's exactly elevation looks like.
Please see attached images.
-The image shown that the elevation and section were located in a different folder. They were also have a different appearances as shown in the image.
-If you select the elevation head then right click on it, it will open the elevation view. it will also highlighted in the elevation folder (see image), right there the elevation name was specified. You can change those all you want.
-If you select the section head then right click on it. it will also open the section view. it will also highlighted in the section view folder (see image) the section name was also stated right there.
-If you select the elevation/section from the folder and drag into the sheets (see image) that's the time the sheet number will also appeared in the elevation head, same with the section head.
The complicated reply above mine is correct, but let me simplify it for you:
Revit will not populate the section head or elevation callout until that view is placed on a sheet. It will then update the callouts with the sheet number and detail number appropriately.
