I am finding it impossible to build steel frame is Revit 2017. I tried using sweep function with an import of the UB profile family but it doesn't show the beam properly. The filleting disappears!
So I tried to build the frame I need using beams and joints. I need to create a square frame and Revit allowed for 3 joints and refused the 4th for some reason. What am I doing wrong? I attach the file with the relevant frame.
If anybody knows how to solve this I would be grateful.
If you know of video tutorials for Revit steel framing techniuqes please post the links.
Thank you!

Set Start Extension and End Extension of adjacent beams to 0 in properies, use Trim/Extend (beams will meet), now use Beam/Column Joins and pick a small arrow of vertical (on screen) beam and they will join as you want.
