Hello, I'm having an issue when creating a lighting schedule my space "room name" "room number" are blank in my schedule, my "number" and "name" work fine but I requires someone inputting information to those fields. Is there a way of making this work, or a work around? Thank you.

Hello @Jes_Gonzalez,

A few questions first:

  1.  do you have a linked model?
  2.  do you have placed spaces?
  3.  When you select a Space, do you see 'Room Number' and 'Room Name'?
  4. Do your Lighting Fixtures have Room calculation points and are they pointing into the Space?

I think I figured it out. All I did was pretty much use Space naming and toggled between the "Names and Numbers" and "Names Only" and that reset the new space I added in, and used the linked architectural Room Number and Room Name.

Hello @Jes_Gonzalez,

Great!

so you found the Space naming utility!

That is a great tool to synchronize the Room Names and Numbers with the Space Name and Numbers.

So be aware that your Ligting fixtures need a connection to the Space to see the Space Name and Number in your schedule.

Either by being in the Space or at the edge of a space. for instance in the Ceiling.

As I mentioned, you could use/add the Room Calculation point in your family to be sure that the Space finds the Fixture.
