Revit section tail and head keep changing back to normal

Hi,
I modified some of the section's tails and heads to 'none' on several different views, and after a while, it keeps changing back to normal (the head and the tail pop out again).
I can't tell what the trigger is. This is very frustrating.
has anyone encountered this issue?

Yes, I have 3 types of the section family

Are you creating new Section Tags via Manage Tab=>Annotations=>Section Tags=>Duplicate?

I've duplicated the section type (System Family:Section),  not the section Tag
