Hi all, sorry if this is a silly question but anyone know why when I render something in Revit, the images on the Frame Buffer View always look very sharp but if I export those images even to Tif or Png files they will not look as sharp?
I have tried to google around for a long time but have not found any answer.
Many thanks
Hi @Anonymous
Can you share any screenshots and a file to test? (Please mention the Revit version)
Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous
When you are rendering, are you using native Revit render?
If so be sure to set the Output Settings to Printer, and print to the final size that you want. If printing the render on an A# sheet, set the size to the Dimensions of the sheet. the DPI can be set to the default, or you can input Custom DPI, by simply typing in the value. Obviously the larger the image size and higher the DPI the longer it will take.
Please consider Enscape as a render option, this is a Realtime rendering Add-in for Revit and vastly improves the rendering workflow from Revit.
