I have some lights in a render that aren't coming on and I'm at a loss why? All the light parameters are "type" so they're all the same. When I zoom in to the individual lights in question there aren't any obstructions. Ideas?
It's not clear to me what you are referring to in your screenshot. What am I looking for?
BTW: nice glass reflections.
Notice how some of the lights are illuminated and some aren't. I don't understand why they all aren't lit up. Everyone has the same exact parameters.
Yes Sir.. I mean as you can see, some of them light up and others don't. That's why I'm dumbfounded.
Your family has a void but it already cut the host wall so there is no need to use Cut geometry as I mentioned. Check the material of the lens in project and make sure it can let the light through because it is Aluminum in the Family.
As you can see from the attached image all the materials are the same and oriented the same way. Yet the circled fixtures aren't emitting light.
Are they in the same light group as the other lights? Or, are they in a group that is not turned on in the Rendering settings?
Sorry, I'm seeing it differently than you. It isn't those that you circled that are incorrect - it's the ones that are solid white that are incorrect. The ones you circled like accurate in the Rendering, which I suspect is set for to "Exterior: Sun and Artificial" Lighting.
