I have added in Revit a Raster, a Tif-file, and I want to modify this Raster.
The raster is the existing situation of a site and a part of this site remains the same.
I want to erase a part of the tif file.
For exemaple, in Microstation it is possible to do it with the functions of DCartes.
Does Revit have some similar functionality? I think maybe about Autocad Raster Design?
No, no image editing tools in Revit. You will have to faal back on iamge ditors (e.g paint, photoshop, gimp).
Depnding on the situation, best you could do in Revit is overlay regions to mask out areas on the image

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Why not have two versions of the raster image? A 'before' and 'after'. Create two views one for Existing Conditions and the second for Proposed Work? Link the images in, and hide the one that doesn't correspond to the view.

After more and detailed research I think the best solution is that I use AutoCAD Raster Design.
Then I can choose for two solution in AutoCAD Raster Design.
I edit the raster itself by erasing the parts that I don't need anymore.
Or I Clean up the Raster, the smal points, dots, ec. And then I vectorize the whole raster and atfer I can save a digital version of it and that I could change a digital version of the raster
The result can added and be positioned back again in Revi.t
It's a pity that there doesn't exist a same solution that Microstation offers as DCartes in Revit. Currently we work still in Microstation but we are looking to do our High Voltage Substation desing in Revit in the near future.
I have used GIMP software for Raster image editing process. like this you can use some free software's.
