I've had a similar problem with the "web installer" myself. There are actually several ways to download an Autodesk installer. Whenever the web installer fails, get the direct installer link instead.
It seems the direct link keeps moving around, but this page seems to have the updated steps to download the alternative installation file.
While I have consistently had trouble with the web installer, the direct installer has always worked for me!
Did you check the "Tips" portion of the download page. https://www.autodesk.com/products/revit/free-trial#trial-tips I know from experience that if it fails to download/install any portion of the software for just about any reason it will fail across the board. Try downloading and installing just the main Revit portion. The others can be added after by rerunning the install exe.
You may also have to check to see that nothing listed on your screen actually got installed. If it did, you might have to remove it and start over.
It may be as simple as a small portion of one of the add-ons or libraries is not currently available from their servers.
