I'm using Macbook pro, and downloaded Parallels 12 to install windows 10 on it for the software.
after installing Revit, and opening it ,I had a massage -
I put the V below, and when I'm trying to use it, it does nothing and get stuck, and even can't be closed.
Is it because of the Parallels? Installation problems?
would like to get your help.
Thanks!

Hello Ilan,
It is a pretty common issue, sadly enough there are a couple of things that can cause this.
The two most common causes are that the graphics card driver may be corrupt or the Microsoft DirectX® End-User Runtime may be corrupt.
There are two more possible solutions, I can type these out but there are two links where you can find step by step instruction:
I'm convinced this solves your issue, if not feel free to contact me.

Are you still experiencing the problem?
Friday I have some spare time, I'll think about your issue and post another possible solution. You'll hear from me soon.

Hello Ilan,
I looked a bit deeper at your problem, at this moment I only found that there is a newer version of Revit released (Revit 2017.1) that has a lot issues solved, like with 3K screens. If you try to instal this one and still have the same problem we can consider that we look at the problem together with TeamViewer.

Hello Ilan,
My apologies for the late reaction.
For Revit you only need (a minimum of) 5gb, the message you receive is a known issue. In the following link, you can read the solution.
I hope this helps you further.

Hi @Anonymous
Can you specify which link isn't working?
Also, let us know what you are looking for?
Please post a screenshot so that we can troubleshoot further.

Dear VivekaCD,
If you followed this thread, you would see that the "link" in the accredited answer from the Autodesk support guy no longer works - that's the question you responded to.
And yes, I'm having this problem also, as well as the original question posed in this thread, and it is NOT solved in this thread, because the link does not work. You asked for a screenshot, and I've attached one FYI.
But the real problem is getting Revit to work with graphics acceleration in Parallels on a Mac i.e. in emulation. 3Dstudio max 2017 DOES work with hardware acceleration in Parallels 12.
Hi @pixelwash
Thanks for getting back! ![]()
@JvanReij can you fix the broken link? please see the pic attached by @pixelwash
Please see more information on System requirements for Autodesk Revit 2018 products
As for 3dsmax see the article HERE

RE: Link being obvious if she'd followed the thread: I followed the thread and notice Four "Links" listed in his 11-03-2016 11:39 PM post, plus the one in the later post.

Perhaps I'm also not following as well as you are
Hi @Anonymous
I'm waiting for @JvanReij to get back on the 'link' he shared which is apparently not working.
Also, I did not see a screenshot can you please resend?

Hello @Viveka_CD,
That's a good question, the link was from one of our partners that posted it on a knowledge page.
To bad this page is not working anymore, I'll try and contact our partner to see if he still has the information offline for us. I don't know anymore myself what the information in this link was about that solved the issue (with time passed).
