Hi,
I have a Dell G3 with the Nvidia GTX 1650 and i'm trying to use Revit 2020 with it, but the software performance is almost the same as my old notebook without any offboard GPU (only the onboard one, very simple).
I've tried to configure de Nvidia control panel, adding the Revit software in the 3d options, selecting the high performance gpu. I've configured the Revit options to use hardware acceleration, but none of these configurations worked.
I'm a Archtecture student and need this notebook to work properly, any ideias?
Thank you for the question @Anonymous, and welcome to the Autodesk forums!
The performance of Revit can be affected by many factors.
What is making you think the performance you are seeing is due to the graphics card?
Also, can you attach a journal file recorded from Revit? (This would have useful info to confirm if the graphics card is being identified properly by Revit.)

Hi,
here is the files you asked for.
Thank you for the journal file @Anonymous!
I’m finding the following from journal.0012.txt:
In case you are interested in the maths of the 325MB number:
If updating Revit doesn't clear up the slow performance, could you reply with the size of the projects you are working with?
