Revit Model Slicer - doesn't support Revit 2022 or later

All,

The app used to be owned by DPR and it's now owned by VConstruct right now.

https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=3578986009268601778&appLang=en&os=Win32_64

They haven't released a version that supports Revit 2022 or later.  Does any one of you know what's going on?  I've tried to contact their technical support and got no response.

If it's not available, any alternative app I can use in the meantime that can achieve the same result?

Thanks in advance.

Can you remind what the add-in does?

Why would we know what's going on?  Contact the vendor.  That's what I would do.

...just read a synopsis of what it does.  Sounds like filtering it by reference level would get you the same output. No?

This add-in slices the Revit model per level so it gives you the nice clean cut at the level you assign to.  So no walls or other components sticking beyond the level.  I attached a picture to better illustrate what's going on.

This is super useful when exporting it to the other software.  If you know any add-in that does this, please let me know.  I'm willing to pay for it if I have to.  I've been using this since year 2010 and it's been free.  This is probably the best free add-in in my opinion.

I've already contacted bunch of vendors and nobody has an idea why it's not available for Revit 2022 or later.  The company who owns it now (VConstruct) didn't respond at all.  That's why I'm trying to see if any of you has actually used it and knows what's going on.

It maybe useful in older versions of Revit, when section box tool was in its infancy.  Now, I think you could do without the tool and wouldn't miss much.  Maybe the developer stopped developing because of the same reason.

- create a scope box for each level, enter name and level to level height from the option bar for the scope box

- create a 3D view from the Default 3D button then assign a scope box to it

This is good.  The scope box does work for what I'm looking for.  Thanks a lot.  I've never tried this tool before.

When does this scope box tool become available?  Thanks once again.  I appreciate your help.
