I'm using Revit 2021 and worksharing a project. The client has requested we upload the model to Autodesk Viewer so they can look around. I originally uploaded a workshared Revit file without realising the 3D view was cropped by a section box so the 3D appeared cropped in Autodesk Viewer.
I removed the section box and uploaded the file again but the 3D still appeared cropped in the same location once I opened it in Viewer. This I retried a few times, moving/removing the section box each time but with the same result. I had a play with the section box tool in Viewer but it only further crops what's been uploaded.
I have saved a new model which is no longer linked to the central model and under a different file name. I've uploaded it again with the same result. I have asked a colleague to try and upload a separate file from their computer which is also appearing cropped in Viewer.
In these two most recent uploads we had; 1. streched the section box out far beyond the extents of the model and, 2. removed the section box entirely. In both uploads the thumbnails of the 3D view are displaying correctly, it's only when I go into the files that the 3Ds revert to the original cropped view. All other sheets have displayed correctly.

check if there is a view template assign to that view or delete the existing 3D view and create a new one and see if helps. thanks
Ah! lifesaver!
I didn't notice that each user created their own default 3D view.
Legend. Thanks!
I had the same issue. Is the viewer template idea applied to the revit file or the viewer? Im not familiar with viewer but the contractor will use the viewer to give a cost estimate.
