Revit Model Checker - List all levels defined as Building Story

Hi,

I'm trying to LIST all the defined levels that are enabled as Building Story. I manage to get a list, but in the list I only see the name of the Level Type and nothing else, but what I want to see in the list is each Level Instance Name. Is this possible?

The report "feedback" is hardcoded and cannot be adjusted. There is an item on the wishlist to let users customize what is displayed in the report, but no plans currently to implement.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the quick response. I was just wondering, because for example the Duplicate Modeled Elements Check gives you a detailed List with name and ID:

Just to be clear, so in case of my Levels list, the list is then created based on the first Object filter rule, in this case Level Types and independent how I built the next rows of the rule set, the built-up of the list will always be the same?

To be honest, I don't know the decision "chain" for what gets shown in the report and what doesn't. Checks that are from the "Pre-Built" list, obviously have their own report structure, but they are all purpose made and custom driven.

I can dig into the reporting output more, but it will take a while. My guess is your suspicion is correct, however: a Category Filter narrows the report output, but an API Type filter gives you lots more info.

However, keep in mind that the "Name" in the image above is not the same data as what I imagine you want for the "Name" of the Level. The "Name" above is just Category:Family:Type. I believe the "Name" you are looking for is the Name parameter value in the Level properties. That still wouldn't be show in the report above.

Hi Jason, thanks for the honest response. I know the Model Checker has its limitations, but still it stays a great tool to use!

Hi Jason,

Since the feedback of the pre built list is limited, can you shine a light on how to use the API type filters for levels?
