Hello all,
I'm trying to configure checks in the revit model checker. So far that's all going well, except for when i try to check if a yes/no parameter has 'yes' or 'no' as value.
What i'm trying to do: Use the Path of Travel Lines to show escape routes on my fireplans. Then with the model checker i'dd want to check if any of the path of travel lines are longer than a specified length. But since I might want to use path of travel lines for something else, I created a parameter 'Escape route' so i can filter out the path of travel lines i'm using for the escape routes only. I made a Yes/No parameter for this, but don't know how to configure the check that when this checkbox is checked, it should add this path of travel line to the pool of lines to be checked on their length. (if this makes sense, so much 'check' in this explaination)
Basically i need to figure out how I filter out element that don't have the 'escape route' parameter checked.
If anyone could get me on the way, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
For checkbox parameters, you should be able to check the value for "0" (unchecked) or "1" (checked) OR "false" (unchecked) or "true" (checked). Just be careful for the null state which is the gray checkbox. Sometimes it's best to check for parameters that are NOT true/false depending on what you want to filter for.
Hi Anton,
De cell you indicated is in the null state. (Which means the checkbox is not checked nor unchecked. If you want it to be checked it should be clicked twice in the concerning view. (the first click will activate and uncheck the checkbox, the second click will make the checkbox checked again.)
I need a message that it is not specified. Flag has -good, the flag is not - good, a gray flag - the error message
I have the same issue. Yes/No parameters has been added, but I am unable to check if the value is either "0 / 1" or "True / False". All other fields dont have this issue.
