Hello, I'm new to Revit. I purchased a Revit Subscription last month. Going through some training I noticed that my program is lacking in materials and families. For example, for walls I don't have stud walls or stone veneer. The window and door families are simple and limited as well. Is this the way it is or am I missing something.
Thanks Jono

Check this website
Are you saying is that the Material listed in the Wall Assembly reads "BYCATEGORY" and don't have a suitable replacement for it? Then create one. Create a New Material and change the Graphics and Assets of the Material. Know how?
What are you expecting to change?
Are you missing System Families, such as Wall Types? Then use Transfer Project Standards to transfer Walls from another Project.
When Revit is installed, a folder is created in this way that you can go there and access many materials
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\Textures\3\Mats
If you want to have many families can search on the internet (https://www.bimobject.com/en)
On this site there are a lot of families
When you install, did you click on custom and install Autodesk Advance Material library? It should come with your installation unless you download the trial from autodesk website which won't include this. You have to go thru subscription to have the installation that give you these options.
FWIW: The core installation includes Material Library and Base Resolution Images.

I think you missed the main point @syman2000 was making. You don't need to "reload Revit". You need to INSTALL the Content Library.
...or is that what you meant?
