Hey guys how's it going so I just fired up Revit architecture 2020 student edition and I needed to change some materials so I went to the material library to change the asset. It's :
1:Locked
2: Triangle with a exclamation mark saying to update asset for best results update asset.
3: Nowhere to be found is a update material adsk file
4: Cannot unlock materials to change them. Even when I duplicated the materials.
Still locked.
5: went to the /adesk/common/ directory to see if the material .dsk or whatever it's called file was read only ..nope.
6: Uninstalled library materials as shown in forums and reinstalled...Nope still locked.
So...what can I do about the locked materials in the material library?
