Hi

I am wanting to train on Revit.

My question is; Is buying the Revit LT beneficial for training for the full revit BIM modelling once I get enough training on basics. My primary focus is Revit Architecture

I'd say "Sure!", but check the comparison chart and make that determination for yourself:

problem is your missing alot of functions in revit lt that will probably be needed like mep, structure (limited function if any)  and worksharing (which it doesn’t do at all)

If you just want to learn some of the basics on your own Revit LT is not a bad way to go.  However, if you're serious about using it for full production in a professional environment, you'll want to pay up and get the full program so you can really learn the ins and outs. The learning curve will be there for either program so look at the price difference as investing in yourself.

Hi Guys

Thank you all for your input. I will have to reconsider and wait to just have the full package. Seems like the best option

Again appreciate you taking your time
